the Renaissance Festival Awards.

The Renaissance Festival Awards honor and acknowledge Renaissance Festivals nationwide for everything from cuisine to costume to crafts. The awards rely on public participation and opinion, and we are now seeking your input on this year’s nominees.

The awards were started in 2005 as part of the Renaissance Festival Podcast. The Renaissance Festival Podcast is a weekly downloadable radio show consisting of Renaissance festival music, entertainment, and discussion. At their inception the awards consisted of only two categories: Best Music Performers (The Lost Boys), and Best Non-Musical Performers (The Tortuga Twins). The awards now consist of 24 categories!

The awards opened for voting on September 1st and will close on December 31st and you may vote only once. Find rules and additional details by visiting www.renaissancefestivalmusic.com/awards/.
