Falconry: The Sport of Kings
by Mary FranzThe importance of falcons in medieval society originally stemmed from their utility as food gatherers. by Jill CarterQuite simply, bestiaries refer to books that were produced during the Middle Ages that descsribed animals, both real and fictitious, accompanied by imaginative illustrations.
