The Fourth Legacy Kamelot Noise Records (N 0323-2) Hailing from the US is Kamelot, a band which combines the speed of heavy metal wih the majestic sounds of classical music. This band sings of days gone by and of lands forgotten where fantastic tales reign. The grandeur of the music is undeniable, as is their level of musicianship. Drummer Casey Grillo and bassist Glenn Barry establish a tight rhythm section, acting as a foudation for classical guitarist Thomas Youngblood, whose guitar work is commendable, especially his acoustic plucking on the ballad "Glory,"which weaves the tale of a holy knight who cries over the blood he has spilled. The gem on this CD, however, is vocalist Roy Khan, whose three-octave range is exquisite, making him one of the greatest singers of our time.
